Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: 10/22/2026

Affordable Movers wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, screen magnification or other assistive technology. Our goal is for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most widely used for website accessibility.

Accessibility Features

  • Every link, button and menu works with a keyboard alone, and the item you are on is clearly outlined. A “Skip to main content” link lets keyboard users jump past the menu.
  • Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labeled buttons so screen readers can announce and navigate them, and photos have text descriptions.
  • Text and buttons meet WCAG color-contrast requirements.
  • Pages can be zoomed to 200% and work on small phone screens without scrolling sideways.
  • The customer reviews slideshow can be paused, stops when you point at it or move into it with the keyboard, and does not move at all if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Phone numbers are tap-to-call, and buttons and links are large enough to tap easily.
  • Nothing on the site has a time limit, and there are no forms to fill out. You can always reach us by phone or email instead.

How We Test

In October 2026 every page of this website was checked against WCAG 2.2 Level AA with automated testing tools at phone and desktop screen sizes, and tested by hand with a keyboard. We check new pages and changes the same way before they go live. We do not use an accessibility overlay or plug-in; accessibility is built into the website itself.

Other Websites

Some links, such as our Facebook page and our Google Maps listing, open websites run by other companies. We do not control the accessibility of those websites. Everything you can find there, you can also get by calling us.
